Cassandra Young

Cassandra recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Sydney. During her course she gained experience in a research laboratory while completing an Honours thesis investigating carbon dioxide capture with hollow fibre membranes, as part a CO2CRC research initiative.

Prior to joining Net Balance, Cassandra recognised the increasing importance of building a sustainable future throughout her travel adventures. She seeks to apply her extensive problem solving and technical skills from her degree to implement effective changes in her work as a Project Consultant at Net Balance. 

Cassandra dedicates her spare time to the Chinese Youth League Lion Dancing Group as a performer and teacher, educating the public about Chinese culture and traditions. She also enjoys reading, exploring the great outdoors and participating in challenging sports and activities.
