Emily joins Net Balance with 10 years experience working with companies to improve their responsible business practices. She recently returned to Sydney from London where she led the development and delivery of advisory services for Business in the Community (BITC). Emily worked with BITC member companies to integrate sustainability into their core operations. She worked with companies across a range of industries including financial and legal services, FMCG, pharmaceutical, waste management and aviation with key projects focusing on sustainability strategy, reporting, stakeholder engagement and sustainable supply chain management. Prior to BITC Emily managed the Corporate Responsibility Index for the St James Ethics Centre in Sydney. Emily engaged companies and other key stakeholders in the project to ensure the successful implementation and funding of the program in Australia. In this role she assisted over 50 leading companies to integrate corporate responsibility principles within their business practices. Earlier in her career Emily worked as a forensic analyst at Andersen and KPMG consulting to organisations in fraud investigation and prevention, integrity risk management and business ethics. Emily loves an adventure and exploring new places and cultures. To satiate this desire she has worked on a range of community projects both within Australia and abroad. Emily has an MBA from INSEAD, a Masters degree in Professional Ethics (University of NSW) and an Honours degree in Psychology (University of Sydney).
