Josh Martin

Josh has over two years professional experience in sustainability consulting with core skills in carbon accounting, environmental reporting and auditing. He graduated from Monash University with a first class honours degree in Climate Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science. Since joining Net Balance he has undergone training in greenhouse gas inventory development and auditing to the ISO 14064 standard. Josh has worked with clients in the financial services, energy production, retail, health, not for profit and government sectors. He has worked on NGER assurance and advisory projects, greenhouse gas inventories and life cycle analyses for clients including Wesfarmers, Fosters, Leighton Holdings, Bayer and Bunnings. He has also worked on not-for-profit projects through the Net Balance Foundation for Salvos Stores, St Vincent's and World Vision Australia. Josh also specialises in developing tailored data management solutions to meet the environmental reporting needs of Net Balance’s clients. He has significant experience in the application of data quality principles and a sound understanding of the concepts of materiality, transparency and completeness and their application to environmental reporting.
