Nathan Rogers

Prior to joining Net Balance as part of the Greenhouse & Energy team, Nathan spent three years working as a consultant to the building services sector on energy, water and waste efficiency.  This included auditing a broad range of commercial, retail and industrial buildings for various government regulated schemes such as EEO reporting and WSAPs. From his recommendations he helped businesses improve their operations and drive down their utility usage ultimately reducing their impact on the environment.

During this time he worked for an extensive period liaising with blue chip clients on how to improve operational efficiencies, gain stakeholder buy-in and raise awareness about sustainability issues. 

Nathan is a fully accredited NABERS assessor and has completed energy and water ratings for commercial buildings (base building, whole building and tenancy), retail and hotels.

Before this Nathan undertook a graduate program with Bluescope Steel as a Process Engineer and gained experience in process optimisation and design, waste water treatment and emission compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from RMIT University, Melbourne.

Outside of work Nathan is always up for a hit of golf, a jam session or a trivia night and is always on the lookout for Sydney’s best laksa.
