Amanda has 12 years professional experience in the Australian financial market and sustainability sectors. Amanda leads Net Balance's Environmental Management business line and also provides key input, project management and advice on a variety of sustainability assignments. Recent projects for clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors have included the provision of AA1000AS Sustainability Report Assurance, the development of carbon inventory and carbon reduction strategies; the verification of carbon neutral assignments, the development of environmental management systems and climate change research and analysis. She also holds the position of Sustainability Manager at Net Balance where she is responsible for internal sustainability initiatives, as well as reporting performance through our own externally assured Sustainability Report.
Prior to joining Net Balance, Amanda worked for the savewater® Alliance where she was responsible for the management of innovative behavioural change and community engagement projects in partnership with key stakeholder groups. In this role, she was extensively involved in key engagement activities actively promoting and supporting integrated delivery of water conservation initiatives across key stakeholder groups. Earlier in her career, Amanda also worked in international trade finance with a focus on the foreign exchange and futures markets, as well as currency and interest rate hedging. She holds a Bachelor of Business (International Trade) from Monash University, and a Master of Environment and a Graduate Certificate in Arts (Development Studies) from the University of Melbourne. Amanda is a Green Star Accredited Professional and has also sat on the Board of Environment Victoria since September 2008. She is known for inflicting her cooking experiments on her friends and colleagues, and inspired when they (usually) enjoy the experience. Amanda was also proud to be declared the inaugural winner of Net Balance’s ‘Golden Goanna’ Award. |
