Our Commitment

At Net Balance, sustainability lies at the core of our business decisions and daily operations. Our team is made up of individuals who enjoy practicing sustainability in our professional and personal lives.

In fact, we use our own workplace as an experimental sustainability lab, which helps us understand the ins and outs of implementing sustainability initiatives and ultimately helps your organisation. We also strongly believe that we at Net Balance should practice what we aspire our clients to become – leaders in sustainability.

Present environmental and social initiatives at Net Balance include:

• Purchase of green electricity;
  
  
• Purchase of carbon offsets for flights;
  
  
• Commitment to using public transport or walking almost exclusively in project work and in travel to work;
  
  
• Pro-bono work;
  
  
• Purchasing second-hand where available to avoid landfill waste;
  
  
• Recycling at the office;
  
  
• Avoiding paper altogether where possible;
  
  
• Flexible working arrangements; and
  
  
• An employee directed health, well-being and balance program.

Reporting Sustainability

We recognise that sustainability reporting is a key vehicle for driving sustainability practice, and for that reason we have published independently assured sustainability reports for both of our first two years of operation. Please refer to our sustainability reports for more information.
