Kate Niblock-Siddle has over ten years of international experience in CSR, working with organisations in Europe, Asia and Australia.
Kate leads our UK office, and has expertise in the areas of sustainability reporting, CSR strategy and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining Net Balance, Kate was Reporting Services Practice Manager at the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility where she helped companies develop and improve their sustainability reports using standards from the Global Reporting Initiative and AccountAbility. She has helped develop sustainability reports for organisations in the transport, property, office supplies, water, waste management and energy sectors. Her stakeholder engagement and CSR strategy work includes helping companies in the transport, energy, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and mining sectors.
Previously, Kate was Associate Publisher of Ethical Performance, the UK business newsletter on corporate social responsibility and socially-responsible investment and Deputy Regional Editor of branding arbiter Superbrands Asia.
Kate is a certified Associate Sustainability Assurance Practitioner, awarded by the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA), and graduated with a first-class honours degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, Canterbury.
After three years in Melbourne, Kate has returned to London with a new vocabulary consisting of words such as ‘hoon’, ‘arvo’ and ‘doona’, and totally new meanings for words she thought she already knew e.g. ‘snag’, ‘barrack’ and ‘lollies’. |
