Kate has five years experience working as consultant in the construction industry. Prior to joining Net Balance, Kate specialised in Green Building Design. Kate is a Green Star Accredited professional and also an accredited NABERS Assessor. One of Kate’s recent achievements has been the successful award of a 5 Star Green Star Education rating for the University of Melbourne, Economics and Commerce building, the first 5 Star Green Star Education rating in Victoria, on which Kate had a key role in collating and verifying appropriate documentation for the submission.

Kate has a bachelor’s degrees with honours in Engineering (Mechanical) and Technology (Aerospace) at Monash University, and is currently completing her Masters in Environment and Sustainability also at Monash University.

When not running, Kate can be found planning her next overseas adventure. She is currently learning Spanish and hopes to one day to be sufficiently fluent to hold a conversation.
