Megan Haines has four years experience in environmental and sustainability consulting. Since joining Net Balance as an Associate in July 2008, Megan has provided assurance, sustainability report and strategy advisory services in the energy, mining, telecommunications and education sectors.
Megan also has extensive experience in the waste management sector. Prior to joining Net Balance, Megan was involved in project managing a Resource Recovery Facility project for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) in Perth, Western Australia. Her previous role included experience in the assessment of resource recovery technologies, sites and waste collections systems. She was heavily involved in community engagement among six local governments and the multi-criteria analysis methodology used to shortlist technologies and sites for the EMRC. Megan has also assisted the Pilbara Regional Council in developing Western Australia’s first state endorsed Strategic Waste Management Plan.
Graduating from Curtin University of Technology, Megan holds a first class honours degree in Environmental Science. She is also undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Business at the Curtin Graduate School of Business. As a newcomer to Melbourne, Megan enjoys exploring the vast array of entertainment and dining experiences the city has to offer. She may also be the only Fremantle Dockers supporter you will meet in Melbourne. |
