Since joining Net Balance in 2007, Michelle has worked on a range of projects within the sustainability strategy, environmental policy and assurance spheres. A degree in Conservation Ecology (Deakin 2001) and a background in environmental management and policy in local government have set Michelle up well to contribute to projects at both a practical and strategic level. The most exciting project that Michelle has worked on in recent years was as project manager of the Western Port Climate Change Adaptations project. This project, completed in mid 2008, brought together Governments, scientists, businesses and local communities to investigate the risks associated with climate change scenarios and begin to form adaptation responses.

Michelle’s passion for social and environmental sustainability extends to her personal life where she contributes a significant amount of time to the Lord Somers Camp and Powerhouse youth development and leadership organisation.
