Natasha has three years professional experience in the sustainability and engineering consulting sectors. She has worked with clients across a wide cross-section of industries, predominately under Net Balance’s Climate Change Business Line. Her core capabilities include greenhouse inventory development and verification, carbon life cycle analysis, greenhouse reduction strategies, and sustainability research and advisory, including sustainable transport and sustainable packaging. 

Natasha’s experience to date includes compiling greenhouse inventories in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol’s Corporate Standard, sustainability data verification and guiding clients with their National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System (NGERS) requirements. She assisted Foster’s to gain and maintain carbon neutral certification under the Greenhouse Friendly program for ‘Cascade Green’; co-authored the Australian Food and Grocery’s 2007/08 Towards Sustainability Report;and authored the Net Balance Foundation’s Sustainable Transport Guidelines, published in partnership with Greenfleet. She also sits on Bunnings’ Sustainability Reference Group, and has completed several extensive reviews for the organisation, including packaging, green products and sustainable retail best practice.

At Net Balance, Natasha serves as the Sustainable Transport Coordinator and Newsletter Coordinator, and is a frequent guest lecturer at the Carbon Accounting course run by Swinburne University’s National Centre for Sustainability.

Natasha holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelors degree in Arts (English) from the University of Melbourne, and is currently completing an interdisciplinary Masters of Environment degree at the University of Melbourne. Before commencing at Net Balance, Natasha gained project engineering work experience at Carlton & United Beverages, was involved in community consultation with City West Water and was employed as a graduate engineer at WorleyParsons.
