Nicole holds Bachelor degrees in both Commerce and Science (Hons) at Monash University. The focus of her studies has been atmospheric sciences and more specifically, climate change. The culmination of Nicole’s studies was her honours thesis, investigating the impacts of climate change on human health in the Melbourne region.

Nicole’s role at Net Balance has focused on climate change and sustainability advisory work. Nicole’s experience has included; EITE audits, assisting clients to understand their regulatory obligations and compile inventories under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act as well as the development and verification of carbon footprints for organisations such as Medibank, EPA, Swinburne University and Walter and Eliza Hall Medical Research Institute. Nicole has also undertaken life cycle assessments, supply chain and product analysis and frequently guest lectures for the National Centre for Sustainability’s Carbon Accounting course. Further, Nicole has undertaken work on sustainability report assurance for a range of clients such as mecu, Sydney Water, WSN Energy Australia and Transurban.
