As an associate Rebecca provides research, development and consultancy services with the Social Sustainability Practice, Stakeholder Engagement & Social and Environmental Risk Management function of Net Balance. With a background in sustainability and organisational culture change, Rebecca’s projects with Net Balance include sustainability report writing, stakeholder engagement, workplace strategy development, research and benchmarking. Rebecca also manages many of the Net Balance Foundation’s partnerships including AccountAbililty, ACCA and TruCost. Recent research projects managed with these partners include ‘What Assures Consumers on Climate Change in Australia’, and the Trilogy benchmarking sustainability reporting series.

Prior to joining Net Balance Management, Rebecca worked in the UK in roles with the organisational development consultancy the 'Great Place to Work Institute UK' where she compiled the annual Best Workplaces List for publication in the Financial Times, managed their Social Partnership networks and ran several of the institute's research projects.

Rebecca's other experience includes time spent with the international membership organisation 'AccountAbility', involved in launching their key multi-stakeholder 'A21' initiative, on corporate responsibility and sustainability issues. Working with prominent figures from international business, the UN and civil society Rebecca coordinated more than 30 partnership and research forums across AccountAbility's work streams, including sustainability assurance and reporting, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, partnership effectiveness and the development of national and regional competitiveness.

She holds a Masters degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London with a focus on the impact of water privatisation internationally, and a Bachelors degree in History and Politics from the University of Warwick. Rebecca moved to Australia from London two years ago to enjoy Melbourne’s beautiful beaches, endless cultural festivals and superior coffee offerings. However she remains committed to the English Lions rugby team, queuing unnecessarily and the Sunday Observer magazine.
