Yeshwant has gained three years professional experience working with Ernst & Young in the financial services industry since completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has worked with a diverse client base, including some of the country's largest financial institutions, such as National Australia Bank and Bendigo Bank, as well as boutique stockbroking firms and emerging companies.
Having performed business diagnostics on client processes, coupled with financial analysis of statutory accounts, Yeshwant has developed a sound understanding of and expertise in operational and financial risk factors and recommending mitigating actions.
Since joining Net Balance in April 2008, Yeshwant has worked on a broad range of projects, including several sustainability report assurance engagements, verifying greenhouse gas emissions and energy data information as part of EITE assessments and NGERS, developing environmental performance indicators and assessing the financial feasibility of various initiatives to reduce an organisation’s carbon footprint. Leveraging his strong auditing experience and training, Yeshwant has helped develop the Net Balance Greenhouse Gas Auditing Methodology. Yeshwant is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. He is further developing his knowledge of environmental issues by undertaking the Masters of Environment program at the University of Melbourne. |
